According to reports, the upcoming Tata product “Tata Zica” Codenamed as Kite will be launch in January 2016. The company has already started its manufacturing at Tata Motors Sanand plants in Gujarat. Also, its testing phase has begun, and many a times its camouflaged test mules were spotted on Indian roads. Recently its full image is revealed in the spy shots taken. From its leaked images, features like rear parking sensors, company’s new signature grille with ‘Humanity Line’, alloy wheels, chrome highlights on the fog lamps etc were spotted. Tata Zica will be a replacement of Indica eV2.
Tata Zica Price in India
This much awaited Tata model is expected to arrive in January 2016. It will be small global hatchback and Lionel Messi will be promoting this Tata product. Tata would be targeting Maruti Suzuki and to influence the Indian small car market this car will be made more affordable and easily accessible. So the costing of car can lie in between the range of Rs. 3 lakh – Rs. 4 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Zica Engine Specifications
Tata Zica will be based on the upgraded XO platform and hence it will be more dynamic and robust from its predecessor Indica. From the spy shots, it appears as have got different rear style and it has got impressive front. Tata’s all new signature honeycomb-grille along with chrome touch and smoky headlamps are making its front quite appealing. Tail lamp is featuring back of car and in all Zica has completely new and contemporary designing. Its interiors are similar to Tata Bolt and Tata Zest. Expected features are dual front airbags, electrically adjustable ORVMs, height-adjustable driver seat, rear defogger, ABS with EBD etc. Its high variant model may also get steering mounted audio and call controls and Harman infotainment system with a touchscreen display.

Yet Tata Company did not disclosed any launching date in India. But according to car experts launch date in India may take place in January 2016.
Tata Zica Engine
Coming to powering, then Zica is expected to be available in both power options: petrol and diesel. New 1.05-litre three-cylinder common-rail diesel motor is expected in its diesel variant that can deliver power upto 64.1bhp and torque upto 140Nm . Its petrol variant can be powered by 1.2-litre petrol engine. Transmission can be offered by five speed gearbox and AMT variant.
Tata Zica will be small hatchback and it is aiming to break the image of taxi cab. Its competitive price and affordable features is a threat to the established cars like Maruti Suzuki Celerio, WagonR, Renault Kwid, Maruti Alto, Hyundai Eon etc.
