Ssangyong Tivoli, the Korean branch of Mahindra and Mahindra is ready with its product “Tivoli”, which is a first small SUV car, to launch after its accession to Mahindra. In total, it will be a second car from their side, first being “Rexton SUV”. Tivoli has already been showcased at Paris Motor Show in 2014, and is launched in South Africa in 2015. Mahindra has a lot of expectations from this car.
From the expert’s point of view, this car can be revealed at AutoExpo2016 in India, and can be launched soon. This prediction is made on the basis of its leaked testing phase pictures on Indian roads. In International market, Ssangyong Tivoli price is expected to around INR 13-15 lakhs. But in India, seeing the competition pricing may start from INR 12 lakhs for petrol base.
Tivoli Engine Specifications
Tivoli diesel and petrol motors will be powered by a set of 1.6litres engine. Its petrol variant that will be fuelled by 1597 cc petrol engine can chunk power of 128Ps and torque of 160Nm, whereas its diesel variant can produce max of 115 PS power and 300Nm torque. As a transmission system of Ssang Yong Tivoli, two options are available. Either of the one: 6 speed automatic Transmission or 6-speed manual will be available with both engines.
Tivoli will be based on the recent design called ‘Nature Born- 3 Motion’ and it will be 4195mm long, 1795 wide, 1590mm high. It will have slim-line grille front with upswept headlights. 18 inch alloy along diamond cut is also embedded. Overall it will have muscular look with its contoured rear bumper and centrally-mounted rear fog lamp.
Its interior has the features like seven-inch infotainment system, a reverse camera, and various connectivity options. Its interiors are well managed, and overall ssangyong tivoli is quite spacious.
Also, many safety equipment’s like smart key entry, front and rear parking sensors, seven airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system etc. are embedded in Mahindra Tivoli which make this car more trust able.
This small SUV is expected to attract the customers of Renault Duster, Maruti S-Cross and Hyundai Creta.
