Price comparisons of Mahindra KUV100 vs Hyundai i20 elite
Coming to prices, then KUV is the cheapest Mahindra model till now. Its cost price will lie in the range of INR 4.42 – 6.76 lakhs. Hyundai elite i20 is quite costlier and its price lies in the range of Rs. 5.35 lakh and Rs. 8.10 lakh.
Engine comparisons of KUV100 vs i20
Coming to engine specifications, then both the models are available in two variants. They both are available in power and diesel variant. Talking about i20, then its petrol model is powered by 4-cylinder, Dual-VTVT 1.2 litre engines which can chunk power of 83PS and torque of 113Nm with 5-speed manual transmission system. Its diesel variant can supply 90PS power, and 219Nm torque because of 4-cylinder U2 CRDi 1.4 litre engine and six-speed manual transmission system. On the other hand, Mahindra KUV100 petrol version will have G80 mFalcon Petrol which is good for supplying power of 82bhp and torque of 115Nm. D75 mFalcon Diesel will be fuelling option available in the diesel variant of KUV100 that will deliver 77bhp power and 190nm torque. As a transmission system, either one of the, AMT gearbox or 5-speed manual will be offered.
Dimension comparison of both models
Kuv100, which is a recent launch of Mahindra and Mahindra is 3675 mm long, 1715 mm wide, and 1655 mm high. It has the wheelbase of 2385mm and ground clearance of 170mm. On the other hand, Hyundai i20 has also similar dimensions. It is again a small SUV with length less than 4m that is 3985mm, breadth 1734mm and height 1505mm. Its ground clearance is 170 mm.
Mileage comparisons of Mahindra KUV100 vs Hyundai i20
Petrol version Mahindra KUV100 will provide efficiency of 18.15 kmpl and diesel variant can provide mileage of 23.32 kmpl. Hyundai i20 diesel variant mileage is 19.97 kmpl and its petrol model can provide efficiency of 16.27 kmpl.
Designing comparisons between KUV100 and i20 elite
Hyundai elite i20 is based on ‘Fludic Sculpture V2.0’ and has more masculine look. Its features like blacked-out C-pillars, a long hood, swept-back headlamps etc gives it a more grown up look. Its wheels are more cornered which increases the cabin space slightly and also enhance the ride comfort. Designing of Mahindra Kuv100 is inspired from EcoSport. Features like front grille chrome, Body coloured door mirrors, Roof-mounted antenna, Fog lamps, 12-spoke alloy wheels, Puddle lamps at all doors etc, is making its look quite appealing. Coming to the interiors, then both the cars have interesting layout. Hyundai i20 interiors are refreshing as well as attractive. KUV100 interiors are also becoming talk of the town.
