Hyundai has already launched updated model of Creta at 2016 Sao Paulo Motor Show. We are expecting the same changes in India spec model as well. The car features styling updates which made it visible largely on front side. From side the SUV will stay unchanged except from new alloy wheels. We will also see some changes at the rear side – a new tail lamp and bumper.

The new Hyundai Creta will get some interior updates as it is going to receive new styles inside cabin. The car will feature AVN system with touchscreen, rear parking camera and sensors, ESC, VSM, automatic climate control and adjustable driver seat.

The Brazilian model of Creta facelift that was previewed at Sao Paula 2016 has not received major changes. But in Indian market, the car is likely to receive major changes. We are expecting for a new cascading grille at front, restyled bumper and horizontal fog lamps. The SUV will also get some minimal changes from side. Specifications wise the new Hyundai Creta 2018 won’t see any changes. The car will be launched in Indian market with 1.6 litre Dual VTVT Petrol, 1.4 litre CRDi Diesel and 1.6 litre U2 CRDi VGT Diesel engines. The 1.6 litre Dual VTVT engine is will capable of generating 121bhp of maximum power with peak torque of 151Nm. The 1.4 litre CRDi Diesel engine will able to produce 89bhp of power with 220Nm of peak torque. On the other side, 1.6 litre U2 CRDi VGT Diesel engine will able to produce 126bhp of power with peak torque of 259Nm. However the company has not announced anything about Hyundai Creta 2018 Engine Specifications but we are expecting the same from the upcoming facelift. If we talk about transmission then the car will be available with standard 6 speed manual and optional 6 speed automatic gearbox.

The engines of new Hyundai Creta 2018 are expected to be more fuel efficient. The 1.6 litre Dual VTVT petrol engine is expected to give 15.29 Km/l mileage. On the other side the 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre oil burners will deliver the expected mileage of 21.38Km/l and 19.67Km/l mileage respectively. As per rumors the SUV can get mild hybrid technology.

It is expected that Hyundai will show its new Creta facelift at Auto Expo 2018 which is scheduled to begin from February 9. After the showcase, the launch will take place in mid of May 2018.
New Hyundai Creta 2018 Price in India
Hyundai has not revealed any details about Creta facelift yet. But the car will have some features of Brazilian model surely. The major change which could be offered by company is mild-hybrid technology. With these changes, SUV can also get some raise in price.
